Ivan Rushmer

Ivan Rushmer is the founder of Trackerserver, the white-label tracking platform presented on this website to businesses that wish to offer indoor tracking.

Rushmer has worked in telematics since 2014 and founded two companies in the field. GPS Track provides vehicle, fleet and asset tracking in South Africa. Trackerserver supplies the platform on which other tracking companies provide the same kind of service under their own names.

The second of these explains the approach taken here. Rushmer is a full-stack software developer, and Trackerserver was built so that a tracking company of any size could offer what the largest providers offer without developing software of its own. Indoor positioning through InSight Mesh is part of that offer.

Nor is Rushmer's experience confined to software. Several leading telematics manufacturers are among Rushmer's close working contacts, and extensive involvement with the hardware industry in China has included the development of new devices. The platform's support for upwards of 4 800 device models draws on that knowledge.
